About Me

My love of programming began with a Commodore 64, programming in BASIC and in 6510 machine code. My work in Telstra processing traffic data satisfied my programming needs very much but moving on I drifted away from software development opportunities. After a long career in telecommunications it was time for a change to return to what I love.

To update my skills I completed the Advanced Diploma of IT (Software and Process Improvement). I am seeking a role where I can improve business processes and build creative user friendly websites and applications that will enhance the customer experience and generate better returns for my employer.

Please feel free to browse my work. As I complete more projects these will be added to the site.

If you would like me to help with your next project please drop me a line using the information in the Contact page.

I have skills in the following areas:

  • Dreamweaver, Fireworks, GIMP
  • VB.NET
  • Java
  • Joomla, Drupal and Wordpress
  • PHP, MySQL and Smarty templates
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery
  • MS Office Professional products, 2003 and 2007
  • Server 2003, 2008
  • Linux (Ubunto and Fedora distros)

Home Site

This site covers my professional side. Get to know more about me at my Home Site hosted by Optus. There is a new site featuring a gallery plus more at

Featured here is my work from the IT course completed at NMIT Epping campus in November 2009. There is also an earlier example of my web work from Medica Raditions being undertaken at RMIT.

Also done with the Advanced Diploma course these projects were completed with groups of four to six students. The aim was to show students how IT projects are completed using teamwork as in the work place.

This area features work I have done for clubs and companies, including sites constructed using Joomla.
